A riviera is synonymous with the seaside, and true to the cocktail we were inspired by the beautiful Greek seaside and created a delicious and fruity combination of our Baton Brandy and Rakomelo, added with apricot, honey and lemon for the perfect sipper transporting us to the sandy sun-drenched beaches of Greece!
A very well-balanced cocktail that is super easy to make. Topping it off with a little Rose or sparkling for a lighter take.
Yield: serves 1
- 2 oz Mastrogiannis Baton Brandy
- 1 oz Mastrogiannis Rakomelo
- 1 tsp apricot jam
- 1 tsp honey
- Half a lemon squeezed
- Rosé wine or Prosecco (we used our Rosé for Cure)
- In a cocktail shaker add the Baton, Rakomelo, and lemon juice. Stir in a big spoonful of honey and apricot jam; be sure to stir vigorously to help mix them in. Fill shaker with ice and shake hard for 10-15 seconds. Strain or go straight into a rocks glass, fill with fresh ice. Garnish with a fresh orange slice. Top with Rosé or Prosecco for a lighter version.
