Continuing down our path of tropical cocktails, we first came across a pineapple demerara simple syrup that was made using the leftovers (skin & pips) of pineapple, so we immediately made the simple syrup which you can see the recipe here.
So after that, we got inspired and started playing around with a few recipes, and the Rakomelo Oleo was one of them.
Fresh, delicious, and downright a great cocktail with a handful of ingredients. So use those pineapple scraps, give it some time and you will be rewarded with a craft cocktail that will rival some of the best.
Yield: serves 1
- 2 oz Mastrogiannis Rakomelo
1 oz fresh grapefruit
- 1 oz pineapple demerara syrup (check out our recipe)
- 0.5 oz Lime Juice
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well and pour in a cocktail coupe.
