For today's recipe, we were inspired by our limited batch of Petimezi or Greek Grape Molasses, so we wanted to incorporate this delicious super-food into a cocktail.
Mixing our versatile Rakomelo, orgeat, lemon, petimezi and mint created a delicious Fall cocktail that will hand down become a favorite of yours!
Fresh mint on the nose followed by honey, almond, and raisins! A must-try Friday cocktail!
Yield: serves 1
- 3 oz Mastrogiannis Rakomelo
- 1/2 oz orgeat (an almond-based syrup)
- 1 tsp Mastrogiannis Petimezi (Greek Grape Molasses)
- Half a lemon or lime
- Fresh mint
- In a shaker, add Rakomelo, squeeze the lemon, add orgeat, Petimezi and a few leaves of mint. Shake over ice and strain into coupe, garnish with additional mint (optional).
