Being officially Fall, we like to celebrate the change in weather with a nice apple cider hot toddy featuring our one and only Rakomelo.
Yield: serves 1
Ingredients
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 whole clove
- 1 star anise pod
- 1 orange slice (plus an additional one for garnish)
- 2 oz Mastrogiannis Rakomelo
- 1 apple slice for garnish
Instructions
- In a saucepan combine apple cider, cinnamon stick, clove, star anise, and orange slice. Bring it up to a simmer and boil for 2 minutes. Pour Rakomelo in a serving mug and pour over the warm mixture. Garnish with orange and apple slice. If you'd like you can add the cinnamon stick and star anise to the mug as well. Enjoy!
