I know for a bit too early but who doesn't love a good espresso martini and what better way to celebrate Christmas than with one made with the rich flavor of Baco No.1 mixed with espresso, Kahlua and a touch of vanilla honey syrup to bring everything together.
A great pick-me-up drink or to finish Christmas dinner, Christmas Coffee is your drink!
Yield: serves 1
- 1.5 oz Mastrogiannis Baco No.1
- 1.5 oz Kahlua
- 1 oz Espresso
- 2 tsp Vanilla Honey Syrup (recipe follows below) or store-bought Vanilla Syrup
Vanilla Honey Syrup
- 1 tbs Honey
- 1 tbs Hot Water
- 1/8 tsp of Vanilla Extract
Place honey, hot water, and vanilla extract into a cup and mix everything until well combined.
- Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 1 minute. Pour cocktail in a coup or a martini glass. You may sugar rim your cocktail glass but it is optional, garnish with three whole coffee beans. Enjoy!
